Do you like your local radio stations?

For a long time, I HATED the radio stations in my area (it's a pretty small community).
I like to listen to alternative rock mostly and none of the stations played songs I liked. There isn't much variety; a couple country stations, a christian station and 3 pop stations that play the EXACT same songs every half hour.
There was also this one rock station that played newer rock and metal songs, but in the past couple years they've turned into an 80's metal station. :/
Then recently a new "alternative" station came into exsistence here about 6 months ago. It was just what I was looking for. ^-^
The station is kind of modeled after LA's KROQ (which is my FAV station ever).

ith me, although i don't always listen to radio, i can say that i do like the local radio stations that we have here...we have quite a number of stations to choose from and when you get bored to one, you can always tune in to another station!
what i like about our local stations here is that they are playing all types of music on sched...and i like it when they play the old love songs...hehe and i also like their dj's!

i do like especially those playing the latest hit song. i love to listen to them it makes my day better.

I live in the city so i get plenty of radio stations. The songs being played are so diverse too that you can just choose depending on you mood.But the best one i liked is an FM station show between 6 to 10 AM but functions more like a talk show since they play just a few songs but the hosts are so cool that it's a pleasure listening to them. They can get so funny and annoying that you'll hardly notice the time.

I do like the radio stations we have around here. I can pick up at least 5 strong country stations and about three to four that are weak. That is all I listen to is country. And sometime i just don't want to hear all the talking on the radio, so I break out my 80G ipod. It is not filled up yet. Only have about 20G in use which is about 5500 songs. That really gets me going.
