| | Yeh if would be preaty boring if there wouldnt be a Obi Wan like in episode one there wouln't be a fight between Obi wan and Darth maul, episode 2 Obi Wan vs Count Dooku, Episode 3 Anakin vs Obi Wan, Episode 4 Darth vader vs Obi Wan.
So yeah without Obi Wan around there wouldn't be any exiciting and major fights that determined the fate of the galaxy and we can tell that from the first episode,
after Darth Maul kills Qui Gon there wouln't be anyone who would stop him and the sith would have already won! HAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAH.......

| |  Hi agito121, no Obi-wan? That would be really tough to do since it would change the whole story. Maybe if Obi-wan wasn't there, Qui Gon would have not face Darth Maul, a different better fighter would have and then Qui Gon would still be around to train Anakin. Also, Obi-wan didn't stop Anakin from turning to the Dark Side, remember, he becomes Darth Vader. But if there wasn't Obi-wan training him, maybe Luke would have turned instead of Anakin. Who knows.

| |  it seems he is not the big good guy but if we think about how important he is he would have more fans, i don't know if people find him boring but he is actually my idol in star wars
luke started in episode 4 to fight against evil and anakin actually joined evil, the ones who are the real good guys and been fighting all alone are obi wan and yoda
i love obi wan, his way to be and everything
