Did u ever mylot from a cyber cafe?   

i never go to a cyber or internet cafe before to access my mylot account or any other account but i do went to the library a few weeks back..which was in december of last year to access mylot account cause i went their to photo copy documents and then afterwards i went to a different internet place to get it scan to my data traveler..then i went back to the library to use their computer to send off the scan documents to the usa ..which was a emergency...but while i was doing that i just check my mylot account at the same time and i got a lot done that day in mylot too since i am always have slow connection or failure of my internet connection.but i don't really like to use public computers cause there's no privacy and the second reason is that virus is always on their computer and who knows maybe even using u account on public computer and next thing you know you can't gain any access to you account cause hacker take it over.i don't know but public computer is never safe cause random people comes in and use then and u never know what they are up to..these last days people are so evil so you just account to be careful when accessing you personal information on public computer.

Hi, tutul0045. I have never myLotted in a cyber cafe before. I have myLotted in a motel, library and at McDonald's before. If I myLot in a cyber cafe, I would make sure that my laptop is facing me. That would be my screen. I don't think that I would want others to see what I am writing, so I will be secluded to the wall. Places like these, I kind of avoid going to because people can still see you no matter if you are in a corner. I want what I do on the Internet to be very private.

Never tried it.. There is one now in the village square but the windows are so black-dark ytou can hardly see in at all and.. that is a bit creepy!! Why is that I wonder.. is that how they normally are and I am just suffering from STS (small-town-stupidity)??

I think its dangerous to ,log in with our mylot account on a cybercafe because of this consequence: What if somebody registered in mylot at the exact computer were you logged in, that might get you accused of making multiple accounts.

i have tried mylotting in a public computer one time...actually i don't hesitate to do that and don't worried much about the security of my account here coz if you noticed, when you are logging it, mylot is asking if you are using a public computer...and so what i did is just to check it...
but i don't really enjoy much doing mylot in public places coz i can't really concentrate and i just don't feel good and i feel like i find it difficult to type in their keyboard...hehe
but never will i log in paypal and in my online banking account using other computers... safety first...

Yea as everyone says i really don't recommend those cyber cafe's anywhere ! one time i logged into my myspace account then logged out, i left and came back in the next 3 hours to find out that the computer remembers my e-mail and my password ! i myself am very smart and found a way to get rid of that but for you i wish you the best of luck and hopefully it didn't do the same thing to yours so good luck and don't trust those things !

I'm Canadian, and I've never seen a Cyber Cafe in Canada, but when I was touring East Asia in 06, I used a Cyber Cafe at Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam to read my email. It was kinda scary when I turned on the computer and the screen come up filled with Chinese Characters. I soon found the what I wanted, and clicked on the word "English," then I went to Yahoo looking for my email. I signed in, and what do you know? There was all my mail. It seemed like a miracle and I was very impressed!

No I don't usually do Mylot from a cyber cafe. Because I don't have a laptop with Wifi access to surf online. So I just stuck with posting on Mylot from at home. Sometimes I like to do posting on Mylot when I am stuck at my Local library. They have computers with internet access there.

No, I haven't as I don't travel since I live alone, and if I did, i would take my laptop with me. In 2008, my ex and I went on a trip to the Oregon Coast for a weekend, and i took my laptop with me, but the motel we stayed in, didn't have internet access, os all I could do was play offline games. I didn't mind though, as as that time, I wasn't doing anything online to make money, as I didn't know about mylot at that time. I doubt I will ever go to an internet cafe to do anything. I don't ever go to places like that anyway, so it really doesn't matter. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I usually go to an internet cafe to play games and do mylot at home or in the office. I tried to log in a few time in mylot in an internet cafe but i just can't focus since my mind is into gaming. I did not realize that the potential harm it could do to my account if it gets hacked or as someone pointed out you could get accused of using multiple accounts. Cheers!
