Have you ever eaten in a restaurant???

Hi, Java09. I don't recall not having any money on me to pay an bill. If I don't have the money on me at all, I will just cancel out the order and apologize. There would be no need for them to call the cops because I would handle this situation in a very polite manner. But, if I have the money on my debit card, then I may pay for it if I can spare the money. I know that if I don't have the money on me then I will be sad to see this yummy meal go back... They don't throw it away, they will eat it for themselves.

A few years ago I went through the Tim Horton's drive thru at lunch time and didn't realize until I got to the window that I didn't have any money or my debit card. I felt pretty silly but they were good about it, they told me I could just leave a card with my name on it as collateral and come back later to pay (it was less than $10). I thought that was pretty nice of them and of course I came back later that afternoon to pay my bill and collect my collateral!

Yes, I've been eating in restaurants at least once a week. Though I haven't experience having problems with the payment. Got a credit card and if I am short of money for payment, I can always rely on my "flexible friend".

There was one time I went out with a group of friends and noticed I didnt have my wallet with me after the meal and they paid for me. Another situation I was alone and I had gotten a soup and a drink and opened my wallet to find no cash or my credit cards. First thing I did was freak out about my credit cards. So I called home and my brother told me they were on the counter. Not remembering at the time that me and my sister had played store and she had lost her fake card. So I used mine and must have forgotten them. So the waitress came over with the bill and me looking probably sorry and very sad. She asked what was wrong and I told her that I had forgotten my credit cards at home and had no money on me and I asked if there was some way to pay for my meal. She just smiled and told me to come back tomorrow and she put the bill in her pocket and walked away. So a little stunned I just got up and left.Came back the next day she was there and she offered me some food and drink and when bill time came I thought she was just going to charge me double. I looked at the reciept and all I had on the reciept was the meal I had just had. When I asked her about paying for the other meal she just told me it was on the house. So after asking if she was sure. I paid the bill. But before I left put some tip on the table and went over to her and thanked her for the meal.Carrying a 10 and ready to give it to her and leave she gave me a hug and I slipped it in her pocket. Just to make sure she got the 10 as I walked out the door I told her to check her pockets and left.
