is it possible to love ur in laws as much as ur own parents?

whenever i broach e topic of parents in law or for dat matter mother in law those married gal frens of mine will go OMG.... i suppose that mother in law vs daughter in law relationships could be one of e hardest to fathom and undoubtedly one of the hardest to manage relationship one will ever have to figure out i reckon... so is it really possible to love ur in laws as much as ur parents??i suppose this is a hard nut to crack..as much as we would love to show respect and love to the parents of the guy we said 'yes i do' to there are certainly many constraints which may make this a tall task for many...

There must be something wrong with me then. I really love and adore my mother, but can you believe that i feel almost the same about my mother in law. Actually she and my mother has the same caring and loving personalities. It is actually scary to see one in the other. I must say i am very lucky to have such a great m.i.l. And i know that she loves and respect me as much as i love and respect her. The most important thing about her, she will never interfere in me and my hubbies lifes. She is such a loving and caring person.

well thats really nice to hear..i think e bottomline of having a healthy relationship with mils very much boils down to how we treat them in e 1st place.it should work both ways.if we expect to be treated with love and respect we should do the same as well shouldnt we? =)
