Do you read newspapers early in the morning? Why?

I used to read newspapers every morning during college because I was taking Journalism then. We are required to read at least three types of newspapers early in the morning. My professor will knew if we read the paper because he would always ask questions regarding the headlines, editorial, etc. First, he will ask us what three types of newspapers we've read. After that he will ask something about the articles in those newspapers. It seems like he is reading all types of papers every morning not just three because he knew what's the headline or editorial of this or that paper. Reading newspapers is not a part of my routine. When I changed my course from Journalism to Community Development I also stopped reading papers early in the morning. I would rather read a novel than a newspaper after I wake up. I still read newspapers though sometimes especially if I'm in a place where there is nothing else to do while waiting for someone. I don't know why it does not interest me when I used to write articles for our School Paper and was even an Associate Editor. :) How about you? Is reading newspapers part of your everyday routine? Why

That's great! I don't know what happened and all of a sudden I lost interest in those things. I'd rather watch National Geographic, Animal Planet or Discovery Channel rather than reading or even watching news. What I really don't like about news is that most of the time it's all about bad things. It seems that no one is writing about the good things happening in the world. That's one of the reasons why I got tired reading the news. I don't really read the Business Section since I can't relate to it. I don't also read the Sports Section or Entertainment. I only read the headline, news articles and editorials section. Most of the time they contain bad news. There are still people though who are writing good news. When I was still in college I am very active in debates especially when it has something to do with politics. I was also a part of a Political Party in our School. Eventually, when I got older (mid- twenties) I lost my appetite for politics, debates and news. I am more of into things that inspires me and amazes me. That's why whenever I watch T.V. I only watches National Geographic, Discovery Channel or Animal Planet. My world just revolves around those three T.V. Programs and reading novels and movies. :)

I read newspaper everyday. But I cannot read it in the morning. I have college from 6.30 am. So, I go out by 6 and the paper arrives around 7. I read the paper when I return from my college. I love to stay updated on all the news and happenings in my country and across the globe. I feel, newspaper is the best thing which gives an overall information about everything that is happening in the world.
