"one liter of tears"  

I've watched that TV series, too, here in the Philippines. That's a really sad story. The disease is also called spinocerebellar degeneration, and it's terrible because your body parts lose their function. In her case she bore the disease for almost a decade.

I have seen the it, and indeed it is a very heart breaking and tear dropping true to life story.
Health is definitely our wealth.

This disease needs attention and awareness DESERATELY. My friend Simon is 26 and has dealt with it since 18. His muscles are wasting away by the day, he used to walk. Then he had a wheelchair,now he can't move his arms and needs help to do everything. Eventually FA will take his heart, because the heart is a muscle too. It's hard to watch somebody as charasmatic and happy as my friend lose himself to something so close to a cure. This disease needs attention desperately, because it may be rare, but when it happens, oh god, it happens.

Hello i am from india, i have not watched this movie, but now i feel i should contact my CD/DVD supplier, yes we must be careful in health matters, we can prevent some diseases , not all like those related to genes...

Hi ritaliu!^^

I was able to watch some episodes of this series. But I wasn't able to finish it because I didn't like the dubbing. It was dubbed in our native language. It kind of ruined the drama. Well, that's just for me. I would have preferred to watch it with Japanese audio and English subtitles. I could have downloaded it from the internet but I did not because I lost interest because of the not-so-nice dubbing. And I didn't know the actors too. That added to my fading interest.

But it sounds like that the illness is very scary to have. I didn't know that the drama was based on real life. It must have been so sad. Well, in times like this, a person really need all the support he/she can get. Did the girl died there?
