| |  Yes, and you can get your site sandboxed and your Adsense account(if you use it.) potentially banned as well. Traffic exchanges are nice, but usually result in junk traffic which is why Google and other's omit them. They give off a false "image" that your site is more popular then it actually is. They also seem to be related to a lot of fraud clicks/purchases/etc.

| |  You don't need to ask anyone you can get backlinks by posting comments with your link or signature on other blogs. That's the teory but i haven't really done it yet.

| | Yes it is and if you use adsense you'll loose your account like i did couple of days ago. Especially if you promote ptc sites witch is also against their "rules". Google does it's best to shut you down, so does youtube and you have to do it all yourself from scratch to not break any rules.
