What brand name of printer do you consider "Quality printing"?

I had printed many photos from my Inkjet printer lately, and it was an old model of printer, which carried a HP model name. If my budget will allow me after the tax return, I would consider a brand new printer, not a laser one, too expensive for my consideration. Some people suggested me a Epson; others would suggest me canon. Which one would you consider quality printing?
