Have you eaten a snake, frog, insect or anything exotic? Will you eat this kind of foods? I have eaten a frog before when I was a child and I don't even remember what it taste now But they say that it taste like chicken. Have you eaten foods like this which you are not aware they are exotic? :)

Ive already tasted fried frog legs and snails cooked in coconut milk a.k.a. "ginataang kuhol". I admit these exotic foods tasted quite good esp. the ginataang kuhol but I can't really bring myself to enjoy it and eat plenty. This is because the thought of eating such exotic meals that are typically considered tabboo is kinda icky. I don't know, maybe I'm just not used to the idea of eating such foods.

I have eaten some exotic foods like frogs and python, wild boar also. I was still a kid then. My grandfather would take us to the mountains. We had a hut there. THe land was owned by my grandmother. We would go there for vacations. It was there where I ate python meat. It tasted the same as fried chicken. I also ate fried frogs and frog patties because I came from a province where frogs were and still are eaten.

haven't eaten a snake yet but a frog, yes. it was from a farm and it was so yummy. it tastes like chicken. i've eaten wild boar, too and it was really good.
in thailand there are fried insects stalls or mobiles around. they come in variety like worms, cockroaches, grasshoppers, scorpions and many more. i have tried eating a grasshopper just one time. i didn't like its tummy but the upper part was okay. but you don't have to worry a lot. they're all bred.
i've read that they fry spiders and lizards in cambodia, too.
i'm preparing myself to eat one scorpion someday.:P
