Sorry to say but I am a supporter of the death penalty and really do not think people in jail should rot in jail wasting money and they know they are getting out so they start riots and trouble in jail. People like this are all around and their are people out there that have gotten away with killing their ENTIRE family and have been released about 20 years or so. I really think if you have to go to jail for more than 10 years they should really consider harsher punishment.All these people do is go to prison to get their life controlled and everything else free.

People like this really make me sick but then I remember this because a few days before it happened I had a nightmare about a car with kids going into a lake and sinking. She shouldnt ever get out of jail yes but would that teach her anything most likely not. She should just go ahead and have the death penalty cause as soon as she gets out I am very sure people will be angered by her and something might actually happen to her.

I remember this story also and was devestated by the fact that she was going to be eligible for parole. But that is the justice system for you. Some people pay greatly for the most minor crimes and others are able to get off with just a slap on the wrist. It is all determined by how good your lawyer is and what the people of the jury will believe.

As for her dying a horrible death by being shanked in prision, that is always a possibility. Prisons are not as secure as the warden would want everyone to believe.

I cant belive there are such crazy woman who can kill her own child just because of a guy who doesnt want her because she has a child? That is so stupid and I belive that she is mentally ill. No mother who has a normal thinking can do it to there own kids, I dont agree with the death penalty instead let here suffer in jail for the rest of her life.

Reading this made me rethink my notion of death penalty as you said. Recently a lady in Kolkata killed her son and cut him into pieces who was seven years old becasue she thought that the extra time her husband was putting into the businnes was being actually spent with other ladies. She claimed that her son was the reason why her husband now gave her less attention so she wanted him cleared. After all such craziness instead of a harsher punishment she has been jailed into an asylum and after treatment 15 years of jail. She is only 24 so obviously she will leave that out. Imagine such a killer roaming free but I guess we just can't do anything. You are not being irrational. Any mother would think in the same way. I would give away anything I have to save my younger brother. That is what "normal" and "healthy" people feel.

Yah, you have all the reasons to feel and react in such way. That woman is a murderer and she deserve no respect. I am against death penalty, because I want that devil b.i.t.c.h woman to be rotten in jail. To kill her instantly is not enough as payment for her craziness.

So crazy the woman was.it is unbelievable.what the hell was she thinking.How can she kill her own babys just because a man.He doesn't like your babies--it shows he doesn't love you enough.
she could murder her own babies for a man,then,what will happen if the man doesn't want her anymore.who knows!

She should stay in the jail all her life that must be more torment than death penalty.

there are mothers who don't know how to become a real mother to their children. they shouldn't be allowed to bear a child in the first place. how i wish there would be a qualifying test for women who plan to bear a child to determine their suitability to rear a child. i wish there is a school on parenting and how to nurture a child, to nurture them with values and love. but sad to say there is not such thing. and more sad thing is that every woman can bear child as they wish...

the government should be strict is implementing parental education for those who would be mothers, to aide them in their motherhood...

My baby or yours, how can a sane person hurt a baby? The most innocent and helpless things in the world…one thinks even the most hardened criminals heart would melt on looking into a baby’s eyes yet there are people, yes unfortunately there are creatures worst than animals who stop at nothing, not even at hurting babies…I’ve come across a couple of similar stories here in mylot and in all cases, either these people should rot in jail for eternity or be publicly lynched….even the death penalty is looks lenient for them coz its over in a minutes!
Actually you know, its people like these who make you think that maybe our medieval laws of stoning and lynching and chopping off body parts were better suited for such monsters…civil laws are not for them and human rights be dam*ned
