| |  I am sure there are some out there making this type of music, but I don't know who they are.
I am a fan of Tull and Yes and Genesis and King Crimson and many other prog bands of that era...have you listened to any Dream Theater? They are one prog band that I believe is still currently releasing albums.

| | I have heard Dream Theater, a great band of course, but I find it a bit too heavy for my taste, but I recognize that is one of the best bands, on the road this days.

| |  I love all those bands. You should check out Rush. They're a Canadian Progressive Rock band who have been making music since the early seventies and they're still around today. They're amazing! Plus, they're just a trio, but you'd think there's more people in the band, they're that great!
