Motorcycle riders!

I got an invitation from Harley Davidson to take a free class to learn how to ride a motorcycle! Awesome right? Well the class provides the bike but I have to provide the gear. I'm trying to save my money but I need to know exactly what gear I need, this is my list: boots, goggles (I wear glasses), jacket, helmet. Is that all I would need? Do I need gloves too? Should I get a full face helmet (if I can afford it) or just a regular one? I won't be buying a motorcyle soon so I don't want to spend a fortune on gear, but I think the class would be a great opportunity, super fun, plus when you graduate you get a $350 Harley Davidson gift card. Please I need real advice from experienced riders! Also, can plus size (fat) people ride motorcycles? Sounds stupid I know but I am overweight, I don't want to get there and look stupid.

If I was you I would get a ful face helmet that way you do not need goggles of anything like that. That is if you can afford it. Most people wear gloves when riding, I do to keep the sting down from when the bugs hit my hands. You should have a jacket that would work just fine. No need to go out and spend the money on a leather jacket. I wear a jean jacket when I ride. And yes overweight people can ride to. They make some of the best riders I think. One reason is that they have the weight to hold up a Harley because they are heavy bikes. Hope this helps.
