yup, because of facebook, the growth of internet cafe is booming. in my city, the general price for access internet is 5000 IDR (0,5 $) per hours or we can use a package three hours (only 10000 IDR /1 $).

same here too. i used to see a lot of internet cafes before 5 years when the internet was just beginning to revolutionize. however, technology itself has evolved, making it easy and cheap for the common man to bring pc's to their homes and thats the main reason for the decline of cyber cafes in my area

Suprisingly, the internet cafe has become a boom business, even in Sydney. There are plenty around but they aren't competing on any real level, and are scattered around enough to be viable. As for rates.. most charge $1 per 15 mins or part there of then 3 dollars per hour. IC's can be counted as anything from 4 pc's in the corner of a computer store, to the massive 120 machines in Bourke street. He's open 24/7 and has business 24/7.

We had a lot of internet cafes in our locality 3 years back. but technology is entering our lives more faster than ever. Nowadays i don't see much internet cafes. those who remain are mainly gaming cafes which cater to the need of the college students playing DOta or counter strike. It will be quite impossible to see internet cafes after 4-5 years. here they take $1 for 3 hrs
