Dress for women or for men?

I once read that women dress differentlly weather they want to impress on women or men - more fashionable to impress on women and more revealing to impress on men. Do you agree?
I started thinking and I think there may be some truth in it!

It dose seem that women seem to go that extra mile to look more impressing for like job interviews and other things than guys do, most of it portains to the fact that some guys do not like to be dressy and will go for the bare minimum most of the time or that they honestly have no clue when it comes to dressing up, I am glad to say however that I am not one of these guys as yo can see.
