Party Planner! Do You Think You Would Enjoy Planning Parties??  

...Hi sleeplylittlerose, On the surface it does sound like a fun job. But things have to be timed, certain things have to fall into place, the people have to show up. The food has to be tasty, and so on. But I think I would like to try it for a while, just to see how it would go. I think you also have to like, well not like, but have the ability to thrive and perform under pressure, that's not too easy.

...Hi there Iram786, It does sound like fun, because we are talking about parties, which means fun when you hear the word. But the nitty gritty of putting it all together and having it work well is probably another story. It takes some experience with knowing what the estimated costs are for the number of people who are involved. So trial and error will be a part of the learning process if one were to do this. I would like to try it for a while to see how it worked out.

...Hi cher, It sounds as though your experience gives you some expertise on a limited scale, that could very well help you, if you decided to do this. I think I would like to try it just to see how I would fare. I think it would be fun to plan, enact and see the result. Parties are fun, but there might be a snag or two that would have to be handled as with any event. You just have to have Plan B as my sister says, to fall back on. ..Hi there lifeafterdeath09, I have had small parties for family members, but nothing on a large scale. I have also cooked dinners to raise money at my church, along with another person, which was taxing. If I were to consider being a party planner, I would have to start out on a small scale and grow.
