Che Guevara: racist, murderer, terrorist, homophobe

"The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have conserved their racial purity by a lack of affinity with washing, have seen their patch invaded by a different kind of slave: The Portuguese.... the black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead." ~Ernesto "Che" Guevara
Yesterday, on Beck's program, he began exposing the myths about Communist leaders. I already knew most of what he told people, as my maternal grandfather was an avowed anti-Communist, & frequently spoke against it at length.
But as bad as I know Communism (& Communism "lite"--Socialism) is, Glenn managed to open my eyes to how much worse Guevara was than even I had known. I already knew, thanks to Granddaddy, pretty much what a bunch of lying, bloodthirsty killers Communists are, & Glenn--love him or loathe him--had done his homework, complete with clips from experts on the history of that evil movement, & documentation of the same. (Just a note: I did not get that quote from Glenn's program, but from a site run by black people online, whose aim is also to stop the myths about Guevara--& theirs isn't the sole site like it, either.)
How many black people (think Danny Glover, who thinks global warming caused the earthquakes in Haiti, or Jesse Jackson. the "reverend" who has no congregation, or Harry Belafonte, & on & on...) who praise this man, knew he said the above (& worse) about them? How many of his gay supporters know he jailed homosexuals, or had them shot? How many are aware that he said he liked to kill, that "blind hatred" of the enemy made for the best soldiers, & that he wanted "to become the perfect, cold-blooded killing machine?"
How many of them know that Castro continues to oppress black Cubans, as Guevara did, & that many of them are homeless & very hungry?
Yet today, people everywhere have bought into the sanitized lies that Guevara was a saintly, "for-the-people," "freedom fighter," & proudly wear his face on every item one can wear, as well as hang posters of him (& buy a gazillion other related things), believing he was a "humanitarian," just out to "help the people of Cuba!"
It's time to build an enormous bonfire & burn those clothes! Rip down those posters, & toss them into the fire! Destroy the lies, the way Guevara's victims' families, mere days after Castro had a monument to erected to honor the (self-called!) beast, utterly destroyed it!
I know I'm sick of seeing his face all over the place! I'm sick of the ignorance on parade about him, & Communist leaders in general!
Thanks, Granddaddy. This one's for you.

I knew a little bit about the supression of free expression from Communist dictatorships from my own education. But after watching the Beck segment on Che, I must say that I'm literally floored at the people who drop his name like he's Jesus and wear his image like he's worthy of the adoration.
One of the best rock guitarists in the world, in my opinion, Tom Morello, proudly wears his Che gear. I mean, it's literally insane. Tom is seriously delusional, I think. He, along with members of System of a Down, promote Che's works, as well as literature by Karl Marx. And he's certainly not the only artist or "black" (racially mixed) man to adore someone who hated them.
Where did these people get their information to believe Che was a man for the people?
And you gotta love the Mao worshiping crowd. Nothing like starving millions of your own people to show what a fair-minded individual you are.
I think some American politicians are trying to recreate this by starving farmers out in California. Sure, it's small potatoes now, pun intended, but what happens when they shut people's water off on a large scale?
Friggin' bums!

Amen to everything you said, dear! I'd forgotten to mention that rock music was another one of "Che's" pet hates, & that he'd banned it! Thanks for reminding me! That was one of the few things I hadn't heard about that maniac!
As to where this myth come from, just ask your friendly, neighborhood Leftist. You know, the huge Michael Moore fans. Ask Castro, while you're at it, who, to this minute still lies wholesale about the misery he's causing in his country. Ask those who drive the agenda the better to further their cause. Stalin called the ones who support such liars "useful idiots."
Kidding; never mind asking them. All Castro or any of his Hollyweird supporters would tell you is this: Firing squads? Executions without trials? Starving, homeless people? Political prisoners forced to eat maggot-infested food--though barely enough to keep them alive? Other abuses? Who's been spreading these lies about Cuba's magnificent "Workers' Paradise?" Evil Capitalist Americans! It can only be them! Capitalism must die! (Hint: some of those saying this--& worse--are in the President's cabinet....)
No, go ask the "boat people," who cobble together whatever leaky rafts they can to escape that hell-hole, who end up swimming through shark-populated waters to reach for freedom. They know this is still their only hope for it, in what is still the freest country in the world, despite even the Left's latest "hero" trying to kill it.
Keep on speaking up, Maters! I'll do the same.
