Do You Have The Body Shop Chain Of Shops In Your Country?

Of course, the Body Shop was founded here in the UK by the late, great Anita Roddick. I was so upset when she died.
To be honest, I haven't been in our shop in Carlisle for ages. However, Mum bought me these little Neroli and Jasmine shower gel and body lotions as a present at Christmas and I'm dying to buy the full-size versions because the smell is sooo gorgeous, it lasts all day, really nice they are. Years ago I used to love the Dewberry smell. Whether it's been discontinued now I don't know...and I once had the full banana range a long time ago...and strawberry. Awesome!
It's so unfortunate that it is expensive in The Body Shop but there again they are good at what they do..and the stuff isn't tested on animals.
So, does The Body Shop exist in your country? Any good? Is it expensive like in the UK?

They have very good products and it is not cheap, but not very expensive.
We have few similar chains, some are cheaper some are more expensive.

Have you ever bought anything from The Body Shop? I've had presents but I've not actually bought anything from there for ages. It used to be my "second home" lol. Thanks for your response, it is much appreciated.

I don't do shopping too often, because I don't like going shopping. It makes me tired. If I need anything, I rather buy what I need at local store that is selling cosmetics and hair products.
I have hand cream from The Body Shop that I bought last summer. Smells delicious....

hi jane,
there's a lot of body shop outlets in our country particularly inside the big malls. it's expensive but the product is really great. inasmuch as i want to use it --i can't afford it's price. i enjoy any gift from friend here and abroad. that's the only time i can have the luxury of it.

Well, judging by the distinct lack of customers in our local Body Shop I think it must be the same in this country too my friend. So expensive!

Yes, we have The Body Shop here in Canada, but I don't shop there. I'm sensitive to a lot of scents and whenever my friend wants to go in there I have to leave very soon after entering. I don't know what the prices are like.

You're allergic to The Body Shop? Of all places! I'm amazed. The main rival to The Body Shop here would be Lux and the smells from there are even more overpowering lol.

When I was a teenager I went to London for the first time. While we were there my friends and I discovered the Body Shops, and we liked them a lot. At that time the Body Shops didn't exist in Denmark, and we had never seen them before. Now there are several shops in Denmark, and I sometimes go there when I want to buy a present for a friend. Unfortuneately the shops are also expensive here, and when I go there I tend to buy things for my friends instead of things for myself, because I can't afford both.

I don't know why so many people are crazy with the body shop. here in the UK you can see the body shop every where. also to me it's not special. I have used some of their products. Not bad, but not good either.
I have a group of friends they always requested me to bring the body shop for them when i come back to China. I want to say their products are not worthy the money and the passion.

They are here in Australia and have been for many years.
I do not think that I have ever been into one though, so I cannot tell you how good they are here!

She may, but I am not aware of her buying any of their products in the 13.5 years that we have been together.
