What Song to Sing in American Idol Audition?

Amrican Idol judges - These judges do really screen well. And their task is pretty tedious since they are sreening millions of talents from all states of America. I wonder how their ears can handle those with terrrible voices.Well, I hope this season can produce a phenomenal singer.

A lot of us are dreaming to hear 4 YEss from randy, kara, simon and a guest judge. So, if you were given a chance to audition in American Idol, what song would you choose to impress the judges? Why would you choose that song?

it would be very hard for me to pick. i guess i would be practicing 2 - 3 songs and then record myself and then pick which one i would sound best. most probably i would be getting a song that would show my vocal range. perhaps something from a musical or broadway.

The song I would pick would have to be "At Last" by Etta James. I love that song but its also a difficult song to sing. I have always wished to be singer but just to shy. The most I sang was in choir throughtout my schooling. I actually sang on stage with a choir at Carnegie Hall in New York when I was probably about 12 or 13 years old. I just hope in my next life I come back as a singer that is as good as Celion Dion.
