What is some good information about Jamaica?  

Wow what a handfull or should a say mouthfull.I dont know if I have all the answers but I will try to answer them.
Our temperatures are on average 25 - 30 degrees celcius ,maybe the lowest it will go is about 23 degrees celcius.

The best beaches are on the north coast which is where you will find most of the hotels .These beaches are in many instances the property of the hotels and access can only be granted by registering in the hotels.Jamaica is an island and there fore you can find beaches everywhere ,all you have to do is park your car and jump in the ocean .These beaches are more accessible and less used and probably less polluted (not that our beaches are polluted).The only thing is that these beaches which are not one the north coast might not be "white sand" which many claim is the best type of beaches but they are still nice.

I dont know if there is a best touring city because all of Jamaica has so many things to see .Most tourists spend a lot of time on the north coast where you have cities of Negril and Montego Bay because this part of the island is very scenic .You have many beaches and hotels and quite a few attraction like caves and rivers .However if you want a less streamlined product and you want to enjoy the real jamaican experience,then you should go to the other parts of the island especially the easter parishes called portland.Portland has the scenic beauty of teh north coast but is less developed because there arent as many hotels but the beaches are good and some are even white sand .The landscape is lush and hilly at times but great to look at .

The land scape is a mixture of flat and hills .The coast is flat but the interior is hilly .Our highest point is the blue mountains which runs through the centre of the island provide an opportunity for mountain climbing .This area is heavily forested with many indigenous plants and animals.The animals here on the island are the usual tropical variety goats cows dogs cats ..the usual ...no harmfull snakes or species.

By now everyone knows that Jamaica is synonomous with music especially reggae music.There are various night clubs on the night coast which offer a varitey of music .The similar thing can be found in Kingston where there are several night clubs but the most popular form of entertainment are the street dances and there are available everynight.There are some annual events too liek Sumfest ,Sting ,Jass and blues and ATI ,all these are major reggae festivals
