Need for Speed MOST WANTED or Shift??

Which of the following games from need for speed do you like - Shift or Most Wanted? I liked the story of Most Wanted and the way the gameplay was designed. The user interface was also good!!! But the graphics of Shift is excellent but the gameplay is not that great! Which one do you consider?

I like need for speed most wanted better than shift. The storyline is very engaging, car choices are great, responsive controls.. and the best thing is it runs smoothly on my old pc.
