listening to music, which songs bring back memories??the good and the bad?  

I think it's nice to just sit back and listen to the music that we enjoyed when we were kids and teenagers, because it reminds us of our lives and what it was like growing up at that time. Like everytime I hear a Michael Jackson song I immediately think of my younger sister because we were Michaels "biggest fans." I know that makes me sound old but I'm only 19 and I didn't really listen to his music until high school. Then when he died it was like I took it personal. He was and still is my favorite artist, and it feels like I lost someone I could connect to. Although I don't have a very heart touching story like you do I just thought I would share some of my thoughts. :)

"Out From Under" make me remember my past. My bad bad bad past. "Anticipating" make me remember my past. my good good good past when I was young.

For me, Westlife's songs always brings back my memories back when I was young. I loev all the songs from the first until their recent album last year. However, one of the album, TurnAround always bring me tears because I listen to that album a lot until I was sent to boarding school I hate boarding school, and always sings the songs from the album to myself when I feel lonely staying at the hostel. Until now, when I listen to that album again, it will make me feel sad remembering those horrible moments I have to went through at the hostel.

I always love music, it's an expression of feelings, it makes me smile and feel sad at the same time. My choice of music mirrors my sentiments and heartaches. For instance, during the time I was badly hurt by one person, I preferred to listen to the sad songs of Barry Manilow, America, Chicago and other FRC songs. Now that I am more happy and contented with life, I love listening to MLTR songs and other Pop songs.
