I don't know. I've never used the pills - just the patch, but i love it.

Have you had any weight gain with the patch, I know with the shot some people say that have gained alot of weight with it.

I have never used the patch, and I used birth control pills a long time ago, like 9 years ago.
I hated the pill, it made me feel out-of-control emotionally, I would cry all the time for no reason, it was horrible. Now I just don't mess with hormones at all. I use a real complicated rhythm method for birth control, which requires a lot of self-control and tracking, but it has worked--no pregnancy scares in a long, long time.

I only took the pill and now dont have to worry about birth control, so good luck ladies on finding what works best for you.

The patch has 60% more estrogen than the pill and has a higher dealth rate. My girlfriend and to stop using it when she found out, because strokes run in her family. The pill is better.

i use the pill, but i hate swallowing pills...i started taking them to regulate my hormones and my cycle, but now it serves that purpose as well as birth control. my best friend uses the patch, and it works well for her...so i think it's just up to you whichever you feel more comfortable with. im not sure if there is a major difference in price, but talk to your doctor about it.
