space exploration is a waste of money ???  

i think it wasn't a waste of money because the reason they are exploring the space is for them to find another suitable planet for mankind to dwell in the future if ever earth face some serious problems.and they are also studying planets and everything in the universe to educate us for we to know what really is out there.for science nothing is a waste but everything is gain.

I don't think space exploration really benefits us, there are other things that are more important that money could be spent on that would do us more good. I just commented on something about global warming and this would probably be one of the bigger problems contributing to global warming - breaking through the ozone layer to get to outer space. So the way I see it, it is causing more harm than good.

No way..its an extension of mans quest to find about his existence and also to discover and uncover some secrets of creation. Also, there is no guarantee of earth's existence in future, so we should find another suitable planet for sustaining our race..so space exploration is a must...

Space ex[loration is useful. Many inventions existed because of space exploration. We can use space exploration to find answers. With space exploration we can use information to benefit us especially if there is a large comet heading towards earth we can use the information to prepare ourselves.

it is like your asking what Ferdinand Magellan did was wasting money because just wonder if there are also people across oceans and seas....
but in fact... he give Roman Catholic Religion in the Philippines as well as he robs gold.....

is Magellan waste a lot of money just to build a very big wooden sail boat that is capable of crossing high seas?

just to take a note that if not on this explorer expedition people like Magellan and the Astro-Scientist, we did not reach the technology we have today....

we can't build any satellite for your cellphone or internet that truly capable of connecting for the greatest information highway....

I think researches on space exploitation paved the for many scientific theories and calculations.Nasa,ISRO and other organization have a very great role in this.
ISRo recently invented water on moon,which may be consider as first foot step for living in moon..
Also other space planet may also consist of valuable minerals and also can be used for shelter in coming years.It is used in the field of weather prediction and seasonal changes.Tsunami was predicted before it happen by use of this technique.
Also India uses only half of the money for chandrayan,than America and other countries.So cheep space exploration is also possible.
