| xbox 360 connection not working  | | | |  I recently hooked up my xbox through my laptop and it worked at first, but not it isn't working. I put all the settings to what they should be, but when I try to connect on Xbox live it says that the router isn't giving an ip adress to my xbox or it says that my xbox is using a static ip address. Does anybody know why it is doing that and how can I fix it?

im guessing you got your laptop running wirelessly?
well have you ICS (internet connection setting) enabled on your laptop and have you bridged your laptop connection into your ethernet connection??
if you don't know how to do it just google 'how to bridge your xbox 360 to your laptop' or something similar. it really isn't hard and very simple to do

| |  hey, you shuld triy modem - router - xbox. works mutch better then modem - laptop - xbox :) and mutch simpler to setup
