I am proud to say that I do have a long patience. I really understand their situation since I've been there. Like in work, I do think I am just a newbie but there are newer than me especially these days and I am happy that I have impart knowledge in them in terms of skills. I do teach them well even though sometimes, it is really hard.

Step by step process is the great attitude if you are just a newbie. And step by step process to be able to make your patience longer.

I do have friends and colleagues who do have shorter patience and I don't really like that. I think it won't do good.

hi ice, this world is a stage, we are actors, we learn many things here from elders, youngers, highly qualified persons and not qualified at all, the process of learning is endless, am i right? ....lol....

That is so true. All of us had to learn everything we know. We were not born knowing how to drive a car. We were not born knowing how to function in our careers. Yet.. when I was a student nurse, many of the staff nurses were so annoyed with us that they had to have us tag along with them to learn new things. Eventually we were allowed to work by ourselves.. then we were taught something else.. like giving medications.. we had to be observed first.. we had so show that we had knowledge of the medicines. Then when we became nurses, we sometimes got impatient with the beginners.. it seems to be a right of passage.. but it shouldn't be so.

I used to work as a teacher for grades school pupils particularly levels 3 and 4. Sometimes, I do lose my patience but I often reminded myself that those kids were the reflections of myself when I was like them trying to grasp and learn new things.Thus, feeling a bit of sympathy towards their difficulties rather than impatience.

We sometimes forget that we all started from unknowing until one day one patient person taught us what we wanted to learn.:-)

Now, I realized we must be patient for someone who is trying to learn what we already knew. We must return the favor.:-)

How much patience I have depends on how much the person wants to learn. Also how quickly they catch on. I don't have so much patience with people who just don't get it. My own kids excepted...

Hi, i think you are right in there, when we are still learning we also have disturb some people and they have patience unto us and its our time to give way to new learners.

That is my biggest moto in life... I"ve lived for it most of my life. Maybe that"s the reason I'm still hopeful for a better life inspite of all the obstacle I've gone through.. I've had a broken heart just recently and my patience keeps me living until I will find the right one soon. We"ll hopefully.. I like this saying a lot..

Well there is a saying at Greece which says " Who ever is in haste he finally falls down".

I remember myself learning driving, and while I was in the teaching car a guy was shouting behind me because I wasn't going fast enough (for him!) That made me angry, but I realized that maybe if I also learned how to drive I was gonna be like him...

Sad part is that everyone is in haste now days...No one is relaxed, everything has to be done at dt time. Myself have a moto (borrowed from the LOST series) "Never tell me what I can not do." and I entered the following phrase "I just need my time"

I am let's say a fast-thinker, and I never had speed problems at learning something.

Ps. I recall now that I get VERY frustrated when someone types really slow..I grap the keyboard and type it myself lol!

Nobody is perfect. That is why when we criticize people, we also must criticize ourselves. Even though we are in a certain field long enough to a point that we are called professionals, we must always criticize ourselves. Grow and grow. Do not stop. Of course, we must give the beginners premium. Don't go around demoralizing people.
