how to know the gender of the cat

WRONG!!! a TAME cat will walk with their tail in the air a male has... balls, or at least the sacks where they were before, girls have a semi-colon...

I think all cats do this when walking. My cat is male but I also see cats who are female and they all walk the same. I think there are more distinctive physical features to know whether they are male of female like how they urinate and to see if they have nipples under their bellies. That would always be noted as female.

I just pick them up turn them over and look at where their gentials are. Female cat genitals are in the back close to the tail. And the male genitals are a lot farther from the tail.

I was not aware that we can determine a cat based on his tail not unless you see its balls when it raises its tail. That's how i really determine the gender of a cat. It has balls.
