Boston Celtics Blow Another Lead  

There is something wrong with the Celtics team as of late. They started strong during the early season, but these days, it seems that they are self-destructing. There might be something going on with the coaching staff or among the players. If this problem will not be addressed on time, we will see more losses for the Boston Celtics. A change have to be in place somewhere. I hope that they will regroup in time after the All-star break.

I'm still confident about the Celtics making it big despite their poor showing lately. A lot of good teams have gone through slumps and was able to bounce back after a few setbacks. With Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Rasheed Wallace, the Celtics could indeed find a way to get back to their winning ways. Despite the slump, they would still end up among the top 3 teams in the Eastern Conference and they'd still be among the teams to beat in the playoffs. The experience that the Celtics have is enormous.

I've got to agree, the Magic, Cavaliers, and the Hawks are the teams that pose a threat to the Celtics in the East. The Cavaliers have rose to the best team in the East while the Magic have really improved their line-up from last season. The Magic is the deepest team in the NBA right now. The Hawks on the other hand have somewhat become the hill for the Celtics. Boston can't seem to win against Atlanta. The Hawks' athleticism have indeed proved too much for the Celtics.

This should be a very entertaining playoffs for the Celtics. Though I'm optimistic about them making it far, I can't see them making it to the finals. Cleveland or Orlando is going to make it.

I agree the All Star Break can do nothing but help Boston regroup a bit. Make no mistake about it, the Celtics will be a team to be reckoned with come playoff time. They will surely get out of the first round and depending on who they match up with in the second round, they could head to the Eastern Conference Finals. While I think Cleveland will be the team to beat in the East, if Boston gets their act together, they could make a run to the NBA Finals.

Don't rind the panic bell till after they start losing easy games after the all star break. I still think Boston will be force in the post season. It really depends son the match up as far as I'm concerned. When you have a hand full of players who are capable of smacking up the entire eastern conference(With 'Sheed, that's a literal statement), a few hiccups mid season are nothing to worry about.
