Ipod touch battery meter

Is anyone having trouble with their batter level and the accuracy of it? Like sometimes when I leave it plugged in all night and I unplug it in the morning it'll show that it's only at 10% battery level and once I let it run for a few minutes (and sometimes hours) it'll show 100%. There have also been times when I plug it to charge and it shows it's at full capacity when it had just died. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem. I have a 2nd gen ipod touch. help?

I have never encountered that problem. I do get the message with it is at only 20% capacity, but otherwise, I don't get any error messages at all. The obly thing about the battery I don't likd, is the fact it drains way to quickly. I can be playing a game and it in no timeat all, it will give me the warning message I just mentioned. I think I have heard that though about the iphone as well, where the battery drains quickly. Another thing I heard is that once the battery dies, you have to snd it to Apple to replace it. I don't use mine everyday, because of teh battery life, but I still do ue it once in awhile. I am glad I bought it as I am getting great enjoyment from it. Take care, and happy mylotting. happy

I have encountered that problem with other ipods so I am afraid it may just be a problem with apple which in that case I do not know what to do, because then again it may just be faulty circuit somewhere.
