try visiting this link they have a good list of free hosting site some are paid but there is free hosting, i don't have much time navigating the site so i can't direct you the right site. if you found something that is better for free hosting kindly please pm the site.Good luck

I think you must be looking for website for some sort of testing purposes etc.
but there are number of free hosting services providers.
and you must go with them initially by briefing and specifications of the services they are providing.
you can go for 50megs.com, which is a good one.

Some sites do provide free domain hosting! But, they are generally not .com, but others like .co.xx or something similar to that! I think .co.cc domain can be got for free! Try googling it and also, there is another site called 000webhosting or something similar to that! rolleyes

If you want to host your website for free then the 'co.cc' or 'co.nr' are better choice. You can get your site hosted for free upto 1 year. After 1 year there will be a renewal. You will also get the free domain name.
