Are you alone in valentines day?  

When I was young, we did not have a Valentine´s day celebration in my country. We didn´t have Halloween either. All those holidays come from other cultures and were brought to my country with Mac Donalds and Pizza Hut.
I don´t think that many people celebrate Valentine´s day in anyway. Halloween has more force because small kids love to dress up and get candy.
Many days I feel lonely, not depending on Valentine´s day. I had a wonderful marriage for almost 40 years and now I live alone. Mylot and my friends online help a lot. I bring my meals here and talk to them about the little things one does every day.
Valentine´s day seems a good holiday, but I still think that if you love someone all days are days for love.

hi! Yes, i am alone at the moment, because my cousin, by whom I live now is not at home and his girlfriend is at work, and I am a single boy but I actually don't care about that, because I have a lot of fun here on mylot and I don't feel sad at all

I wasn't alone. I went out with somebody. We are not officially boyfriend-girlfriend yet,we are getting there though haha. Last year I was alone for Valentines day so this year was better.

No, I'm / I wasn't alone because I'm married and I was with my husband. But we don't celebrate it.

to be honest I don't like valentines day its not that am alone I just do not see the point in having an over commercialised day every year lol,

the only people that are making a killing is the card and gift shops, you should show your love all year round not just one day of the year.
