Just looking at the Calendar....

I have a countdown going... and it is 5 weeks until the first day of spring!! happy ...I actually have been counting down since the 1st of January since I really hate winter....

My son is in first grade, and I drive and pick him up from school and the weather here in the midwest is cold...we just got snow last week and that just depresses me and yet...I love living in Michigan!!! whistle I love spring, summer and fall.... and yep, I really hate winter!! rofl

I cant wait to start start my garden and working in my back yard and we have so much work still to be done inside but we always start a new project around Memorial weekend....so I always look forward to that time because it means my house will be updated somehow --depending on the project we choose and can afford.

So, I was wondering...do you look at the calendar often...do you have countdown to something?? do you have something exciting that you are looking forward to this year??

bookreadermom hi five weeks to first day of spring, wonderful. I am not
a great fan of winter even in southern California where I am.Yes I am
an avid calendar watcher. I am so longing for warm weather and spring.
I have only hopes that my son will eventually get a job and we will once again be able to be together in our own apartment.its been over a year and I really really do not want to be in t his retirement center forever til my death. I want to be back into an apartment.so that is the only thing that might be exciting if it can only happen. life here is dullesville which is why mylot is saving my mind and my life. cheering have a nice day spooked

Good thing for you have winter spring summer and fall.
In my country we only have summer and rainy season.. I
never have seen a snow in my whole life. Maybe when I've seen
It i like to make a snowman out of it..

I also heard a lot of feedbacks about having it as a burden
because its really hard to go somewhere..

Since we have winter and snow every year...it is not exciting to me, but I love all the other seasons we have... so at least I have the rest of the year to look forward too!! thanks for the response and have a great night!

I kind of know what you mean...it seems like winter is lasting forever here in Missouri as well. I haven't been able to get out of the house in over a week. I'm so tired of the cold.

I have lots of things planned for spring like cleaning out my closets and giving the stuff I don't need to Salvation Army, moving our fishtank to my Mom's since she wants it, getting a new recliner from her and finally getting a nice table and chairs set for our kitchen. I can't wait to start the spring cleaning and getting to open the windows too. COME ON SPRING, I'M WAITING FOR YOU!! w00t

oh doesnt it sound nice to start those projects and just to think of spring cleaning sounds so wonderful...open the windows and start to have nice days where we can go out with a small jacket and enjoy the day.

I am hoping to find a second hand couch for my living room this spring...as of right now what we have is hand me down and if it gets stained right now from my kids I dont mind...but come this summer I am hoping to have something better in here and more my taste.... lol
