do you go for a training even if there's no training allowance?

I do not think there's any choice if this training is mandatory especially when it is related to your job and sustenance in this company.

At this tough time, it is understandable that companies would not be paying allowances as with most companies for budget control measures.

Anyway, you have a good experience and hopefully it may help you with your prospects in the company.

i wont go if im in your place because i believe if these company cant even give us allowance for our training what more when we are already their employees.they should know that people should have allowances in training because they have needs thats why they are applying for the job and then they wanted you to work for them for one month for free.that is really inhuman.lets see if their boss will also do that if he is in your shoes.i bet he would back out right away.

I think i will still go, if it's beneficial to me, in the long run.. hehe ^_^ PLus, though there might be no allowance, but the training itself might already have been heavily subsidised, and thus it's worth it??

Humans need to be on the constant upgrade of things, so as to learn and keep up ^_^ And just treat it, as a kind of savings camp?? If one can survive with little budgets, that will be more than enough of motivation.. haha =D

..it depends on what you consider more important.
if training even without pay would mean landing a job and still have a pay later would mean more to you then why not take the risk. and ever you find other companies compensating their trainees, why not apply there in the first place? ..haha..am kidding..every company has their foundations, norms, or policies, it just so happened that the company you applied to doesn't pay their trainees, which also was the case with the company I applied to, and right now i got the job.

Working in a call center is very hard and is not good when you have childrens. Well to my experience if the call center is one managed by a company from your own country then you might give it a try, But if it's another country's company implemented in yours in order to do outsourcing then the only reason behind this is exploitation. Stay away from them. I never worked in a call centre and probably never will, my friends warned me a lot about it.

With my first call center job, we already have our pay even during training period.I think we are just lucky though.

some company already start giving salary even during training time, while others just give them allowance. but if none at all for one month then no thanks, i will not going to risk my time if i can still find another job during those training days and i might get job that is more better than them, if the company dont even give allowance then why bother to continue if in the first place they are no longer concern to their employee when it comes to money.

If it is a call center agent post, then No. There are a lot of companies that offer the basic salary already when you are still training. If a company will offer me job without training allowance then I will definitely decline it.
