It depends on how loud the snoring is. Generally I can sleep with the sound of snoring. I have slept in the same room as my best guy friends and some of them snore so I got used to it. My fiance also snores so im pretty used to it and I can sleep with it.

When I was a kid, I used to share the same room with my brother and father, and my father snores every night! I get so mad and I can't sleep!

I can't sleep when a person is snoring! I had a boyfrriend once who was a loud when he slept! I couldn't sleep at all with his snoring! It got so bad I took an over the counter sleeping pills so I could sleep! If I didn't I would of ben a walking zombie!

Since my father used to snore and i slept in the room with my parents when i was a kid i'm kinda used to the sound of it so it does not bother me anymore. I can sleep now even if someone is snoring beside me. LOL One tip that might be useful is that you turn the person snoring to one side. This way it stops the snoring.

My husband doesn't snore in that throaty or nasal way with a long gargling croak, he has a different way of making a sound, he says 'mm,hmm ' just like he is answering a question without opening his mouth.
Well you may think that , it is not as bad as a grunting snore but it is, it goes on an on for hours.
Eventually I will say ,'oy shhh'! and he will be surprised that he was making any sounds and turn over to go to sleep quietly.
The only time I am woken with a real proper snore is when I hear a long snort and then I wake up and it was me making the sound.

I can tolerate it if the snoring is not so loud, otherwise, I put a pillow over my head. I'll sleep definitely that way.
