Is Paypal cracking down on PTCs?  

Hi ranacseruet - These are indeed words of true wisdom. To put it in a candid manner - known devils are better than unknown ones! So many members who invested tens, hundreds or thousands of dollars are now at a complete loss. Old sites like clixsense pay by check which is the surest way of getting your payment. The notes on my link indicate the best sites in different areas of online earning.

Hi udayrao2 - There is only one screen that has been displayed on Upbux for the last about 14 hours now. Upbux has mentioned on that page about their account being limited by Paypal and have promised to give refunds to members when funds will be available. But once an account has been frozen by Paypal it is very difficult to get it back.

I have doubts. If paypal is not supporting, why they are not using other payment processors like alertpay or liberty reserve or any such ones. Why they are closed the site. But, one thing, so far this site was running beautifully.

Hi basqui - Paypal usually restricts accounts when they discover suspicious activity. I don't think anyone will come to know about what were the circumstances that led to Upbux's account being limited because Paypal does not make announcements about individual accounts. But from feedback from the other Paypal members found on the web, Paypal does not release funds once it freezes accounts. That is where the members will lose - common people who work on sites like Upbux for an income.

Hi lordcaocao2025 - You have a point there. The PTC world may be partly at fault because of the tremendous amount of scams that have happened in the past. Also, it is only the old sites like Clixsense etc. that have also been consistently paying which can be really trusted. The concern is that if Upbux, which was considered a genuine PTC loses its account, what will happen to many lesser regarded PTCs where thousands of people click and invest everyday!

Hi bnx2212 - Let all of us who work on, or have friends working on PTC sites, hope so. But if it is so called suspicious activity that led to limiting the Upbux account by Paypal, many more PTCs may be in line. The logic being that all PTCs have more or less the same way of functioning.

Hi lifeafterdeath09 - It is difficult making "real" money with any type of work since you either need to strategize, as in PTC sites, or produce excellent quality as in writing sites. That said it is best to work on a bouquet of sites like I do so that you have minimum risk if any one site shuts down. That is the reason why I have chosen some PTCs, some writing sites, task sites and paid forums to work on - all tried and trusted by many and have been around for some time.

Hi May2k8 - That is a good observation. As I mentioned earlier it will not be known as to what circumstances triggered the limiting of Upbux account. There never smoke without a fire.

Hi lovinangelsinstead21 - I agree with you there that cheques are the best mode of payment. It is nearly as good as receiving cash. Clixsense does that and is seen to be a safe site to work on.

Cheques are the best thing because once cashed you can go out and blow the whole amount on anything you want. Clixsense is good I know but I only ever get two ads from them every so often that´s because I´m in one of those Countries I guess never mind hope you have many many cheques in the future and more to come.

Hi bjcyrx - True, Paypal is the payment processor of choice being very established. Alertpay and Liberty Reserve, known commonly as AP and LR are the next two modes of payment adopted by many sites.

Yep, LR is gaining popularity especially among those who are into HYIPs.
