|  Have you ever tried to watch a movie in a language that your are learning just to see how much did you cap from leaning?
I personally did once,watch on movie in French,and just after the movie I knew that I still have MUCH to go in learning that language lol

| | It does help...but it just makes you feel like you know nothing about that language for the first moment after the movie is over!

| |  that is right lexx87..i also used to watch english films because i am in the process of improving my english communication skills..i am also watching japanese because i also want to learn how to speak nihonggo cause i think its kinda cool..and it is the fastest way, aside from enrolling in a language tutors, to learn how to speak different languages..

| |  I did this when I was trying to learn Italian and watched both a few Italian movies as well as those such as "The Godfather" which featured scenes in Italian. Like wise what I learned was that I really needed to learn a lot more before I could comfortably understand what they were saying.

| |  i watched many foreign languages...in my country (india) there are almost 10 languages in which films are released...i also saw films from korea,japan,china,iran and france and i'm a great fan of this films.....i can see any foreign films but there should be an english subtitle for the movie,...so i cant ever try to concentrate on the audio part...but i must admit that after seeing many hindi films i finally learned the language...now i can speak it fluently ..thanx to hindi movies.....

| |  When I was living in Italy for the first time I sometimes watched Italian movies. I was studying Italian at a language school, and when I arrived I hardly understood any Italian at all. Mt roommate was an Italian girl and she often watched movies at night. In the beginning I only looked at the pictures, because I didn't understand much of the words, but I still watched the movies in order to learn more. When I had been in Italy for a couple of months I went to the movies with some friends and we watched "Stepmom" in Italian. I understood almost everything and that was a great feeling, because it was so different from the experience I had in the beginning.

| |  The only movies watch in a foreign language is movies with subtitles. When I traveled overseas, of course all the television was in the language of the country. It was interesting watching reruns of shows I had already seen in another language. It didn't help me learn the language, but it was very interesting.

| |  yes, i do, i often wacth a movie in english, my mother tongue is chinese, this habit of wacthing movie in english improve my language level quickly, but this way also have a disadvantage that you was attracted by the movie plot and ignored that you just learning foreigh language
