UFC Masters division  email this discussion to a friend?

Seeing some of the top tier talent from a few years back falling off and going on losing streaks really made me think, how popular would a division for over 40 UFC fighters be? WHen theres already a few still fighting like Couture, Coleman, and Tank Abbot, maybe an over 40 division would bring back more of the pioneers of the sport.

I remember in one of the original UFCs a guy fought who was in his 50's, now Randy is the "old man" of the sport at 45.

Anyways, after seeing the hype leading up to the Couture-Coleman fight, do you think battles between legends like this would make for an interesting division or would it be more of a freakshow?

I think it would be a bad idea. If the "legends" to can't compete against today's competition, then they should call it quits. They'll only ruin their legacies if they continue forward.
