Is the Grass always Greener on the other side?

I was just thinking that one of my neighbors always seems to have everything go smoothly for them. So it got me to thinking, does the grass always seem greener on the other side? I know that we all have good times and bad ones, that's part of life. But do you ever wonder if you switched lives with someone, if the grass would be greener? Do some folks really have a charmed life or does it just look that way?

It just looks that way ny friend. It does seem that the grass is greener but if ever we are there we'll see that it is a lot different upclose. I have wondered about charmed lives before but I have also learned that here is more than meets the eye.

Very true. It never fails to amaze me that some folks think that if they had lots and lots of money then they'd be happy. But one has only to look to the celebrity news to know how falset that can be.

it seems like to me when things go bad it all seems to happen all at once so it seems like for others that they have it a lot better then we do.
I also notice that when things are good or going good it seems to happen in surges too.
It's like this if i am selling stuff and i can go for a long time and not sell anything and i think why do i bother then i will have a couple days or a couple weeks where i sell a lot of stuff and make out pretty good so it kind of goes this way sometimes its good and sometimes it bad you have to take them both in stride, because in life you never want to get too low and you never want to get too high, because as we all know it can easily change either way at any time.

You make an excellent point! Just when I thought things were going badly, got a few more surprises and not good ones. But just when I accepted that it was what it was my bad series of luck changed. Now things are going far far better than they have in months.
So maybe there are bad things trends followed by good things trends! Tho I sure how which ones I like better! I am much more grateful that things are going calmly lately! Online sales can be tough, good luck wiht that! Take care!

I do not usually believe on this. Life just fair to everyone and everything that happens in our lives just the outcomes of what we did and what we aimed to achieve. If grass is greener on the other side of the fence or to your neighbors that means they strive for it, they worked hard for it. If we also work hard then it is not possible that lives is greener on our side.
