how to master java language?what kind of skill to learn programming language?

I'm interested in programming language,and the same puzzle is I do not know how to learn a programming language well?Pls give me some advice.

Yes of course, You need to understand that Java And JavaScript two different things,
You must to know about the history of any other language if you have small knowledge about HTML Coding so it is not difficult for you to understand but if don't know about HTML, So, My advice for you. That you first need to learn some HTML for this purpose there are so many site are available on internet. I use "w3school" For learning and improving my HTML and JAVA script. So, You can also use it. thanks if you like it.

Come on. Java is quite different with html or js. Java is a app language, but html, js are for presentation tier. If you want to understand java better, you first need to know what's OO - object oriented. java bible - thinking in java...

If you want to start learning easily, you can buy "Head First" java book. It is very good book to understand basics.
Then see different examples in java.You can refer http://java2s.com/ for this.
