Much like most of the early Wrestle Manias. this match only had tow or three solid bouts. My favorite from this match was Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior, title for title. While it wasn't a five star classic, it had all the fans on the edge of their seats. What do you think?

I felt like Wrestlemania 6 had alot of filler matches. I would have looked forward to a good match with the Hart Foundation but Bret won in like 19 seconds. Man what a dud that was. I was laso looking forward to Mr Perfect vs Beefcake but it wasnt the best match either. Besides Ultimate Warrior and Hogan who most definetly stole the show that night I have to give credit to Jake Roberts adn Ted Dibiase. there match was actually pretty good. Would have been better to have a real finish though.

The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan match was far and away the best match on this show. As I think back to these earlier Wrestlemanias, the fact that there is a lot of filler really hurts the show as a whole. If I remember rightly, this card had something like about thirteen and fourteen matches and maybe only about three of them got anything resembling a decent amount of time. Still, Warrior and Hogan, maybe not the best match in the history of Mania, it was entertaining and a riveting match. Warrior's second best match in his career, other than the following year, but we'll get to that when Wrestlemania 7.
So as for an honorable mention, well I actually had to break out the old 2009 Pro Wrestling Illustrated Almanac and Book of Facts to see what else was on this show. Ah, Ted DiBiase and Jake Roberts, I remember being a fairly good match. The finish however takes it good. Mr. Perfect and Brutus Beefcake would be up there. I was going to go with the Orients and the Rockers, but this was the inferior Sato/Tanaka version of the Orient Express, and not the Kato/Tanaka version, which may be one of my favorite overlooked tag teams in wrestling history. And another lame countout finish, so points off. I believe there was a Rockers/good version of the Orient Express match at Rumble 91 that was quite awesome, so check that out if you ever get the chance.
