I feel the exact same way,(and by the way, I had a Pomeranian, Katie, for 13 years..she was the love of my life and I still miss her today) I now have 2 dogs, rescues and I can not imagine my life without them. I've only had them for about 7 months and I can't remember life before them!! They have brought so much love to our home and they just make my day, everyday!! Its amazing that they love you back, so much, and its the only real unconditional love I've ever experienced..truthfully. Its such a great feeling to come home and have them waiting by the door, patiently for it to open. The greeting that I get is overwhelming and it dosen't even matter if I was only gone for 30 minutes..they act like I was gone for a year!! My mom just turned 84 and she is alone now as Dad has passed. I am thinking about getting her a dog..I'm not sure she could handle a puppy but there are sooooo many older dogs that need good homes at the humane society, already potty trained etc. I just know she would love the company and what better company could I give her? The only part I dont like is having to go to the humane society because I want to take every one of them home..My husband will kill me if I get another one but its so hard to go there and look at those faces saying,,"Please take me!"..I'll let you know,,I'd love to find a Pomeranian..perfect size for her and they are so smart and good with everyone..Wish me luck in my search!!

Right on. We are not one of those couples who go overboard with our pets, but we do love our cat like he is our kid. Well, he is our kid, since we do not want to have kids of our own. However, he's still a cat and we know it. LOL We love him and take care of him, but we don't go overboard.

Oh yes, I love the quote. It is really is true. My family has always been pet lovers, specially dogs. Everyone in my family, except mom, loves them a lot. We used to have a lot of dogs all at the same time, and we enjoy their company. They are always loyal to us and protect us as well. Since the time my mom got bitten by an alley dog, she never wanted us to keep anymore dogs, as time goes by, our dogs got old and died :( we are now left with 2. My mom developed a phobia with dogs. It's really sad how she tries to stay away from our dogs when they are so sweet with everyone, recently, my fiance gave me a min pin puppy, i love him so much, so energetic and I admit, he always makes my day. When my fiance left, he kept me busy and makes me smile despite that fact that I am missing my fiance so much. Everyone just loves him, INCLUDING my mom. Guess my min pin's charms got her, who wouldn't? he's just adorable.

hi joan. i had a white cat when i was young and i really love her ..yes..pets can make a big thing in your life,i love my cat cutie..she makes me smile during my stressful day in school..until one day she was hit by the car and she was dead when i came home..i really cried and cried that time..its really hard for me to accept it.until now i never take any pets.

i dont understand how those animals can make your life worth living. i thought its family that can do this for us

I totally agree. I have had pets most of my life. There has always been a little one for me to love. Pets love you no matter what. They are loyal and they are always there. No matter what happens they are there for us and we are there for them too.
I have 4 babies now, my rotti Ninja, and 3 min-pins Bailey, Ozzie, and Jackie. I also have a ferret and she is just as spoiled as the boys are. Her name is Miss Noodle Girl.

I definately agree with you on this topic. I myself are an animal lover. I have 2 dogs of my own, also I have birds. The rest of the family all have pets as well. Including rabbits, turtles, birds, dogs and fish. We all have our own attachments to our own pets but love them all. I also believe that it has taught my children alot of responsibility. It is nice to see that you got to experience the joy of a pet.

I agree with you.have a pet just like have a cherish friend.It can make you life full of interesting.I have a litle dog in my house.just like a special gift for me.I like play with him very much.and you won't felt lonely any more.

The quotes are really true based through my experienced since I was a child and learned to take care and love my pet dog like a human. I felt also love from them in return because they respect me as there friend and who cared for them so much. We have so much bonding everyday like what you said there are stress buster and sometimes I tell them my problems silently and talked to them like a friend. Even though they can't speak I know they understand me. Thats why I love them so much.
