|  I just read on msn that Sachin was only the first male cricketer to score a double ton in ODI cricket whereas a woman had already scored a double much before.
I am posting it below :
1st Male Cricketer to Score a 200, Congrats Little Master ! Jai Hind!
But, just for knowledge, the first double hundred was scored in Women ODI

| |  yes i agreed that he is the only one to make double but i want to ask you one thing that is there any female cricketer which score double so you have written that Sachin is the only male cricketer that score double. it s an great opportunity for him to celebrate and even for india as he is an indian which increased the prestige of our country so really an great achievement and we should celebrate.

| |  It is quite unfortunate, that this feat of a woman scoring a double hundred was never acclaimed. All of us know, how hard it was for Sachin to score the two hundred, whereas this woman BJ Clerk had scored 229 runs. Yes scoring 200 runs in 50 overs by a induvidual is a great feat. Let us congragulate, both Sachin and BJ Clerk for this stupendous acheivement.
