Hi Deepa,

Yes, child is like blessing/gift and every parent want to make that day very very special, and celebrate in best possible way, as my sister daughter is few months old, not completed year,(so it takes time, and i am not married,) these are some goos memories remain in our mind for ever in the form of photo and video's.
Game Planning:
That planning is done as per the attendance means small children you are expecting in that birth day party.
Normally people as i seen and heard they start with fancy dress as child like to get dressed in fancy way, plus return gift, yes you must plan nice return gift.
