Spanish outfit Valencia are on the trail of Liverpool's Spanish goalkeeper Jose Reina, according to a report here.
Liverpool's manager Rafael Benitez used to coach the east coast Spanish side and now current Valencia handler Quique Flores is hoping to tempt Benitez into letting Reina go with an eight million pound bid (15 million dollars).
According to Wednesday's edition of The Sun tabloid, Flores wants the 24-year-old Reina to replace the aging Santiago Canizares.

The carrot for Reina is a chance to boost his status in the Spain set-up, in which he plays second fiddle to Real Madrid's Iker Casillas.
Benitez has already admitted that Liverpool, who sit ninth and 14 points adrift of leaders Manchester United, are virtually out of the Premiership race.
Reina, who replaced 2005 Champions League final hero Jerzy Dudek as the Red's first choice keeper, joined Liverpool for six million pounds (11.37 million dollars) from Villarreal after starting his career at Barcelona.
