Are you worried about pesticides when you eat fruits?

Honestly speaking, definitely yes! I am always worried about pesticides when I eat fruits. And I cant just say that I am not going to eat fruits anymore because they are really important for our health. And to get rid of the pesticide, I always have to scrub the skin of the fruit. How about you? what do you do to get rid of the pesticide when you eat fruits? Are you even bothered or not at all?

Hi, My brother is a chemist and after a conversation with him years ago, I peel EVERYTHING. The only fruits I don´t peel are my home grown fruits and veggies. Thats why I love so much my apricot tree. I never use any kind og pesticides. As for the veggies, I´d rather take out a slug or two with my hands than to eat poison.

I peel everything too. It is really hard to think that these pesticides are poisonous but they actually are. Washing and scrubbing I think it not even enough to get rid of the pesticides. I kinda envy you because you have an apricot tree. I wish I have that too. I am also planning to have a vegetable garden but I dont have time to do it yet.

Mi vegetable garden this year, the first time in many years, was not a complete success. But I am learning from my mistakes and will weed deeper before planting next year. My apricoy tree is a wonder. Years ago, an expert in trees and such told me I had to cut it as the tree was too old and ill. My grandchildren did not accept the suggestion as it was the tree where they had all learned to climb. I thought that memories were more important than fruit and just pruned it. The tree thanked me for keeping it alive and we have tons of fruit every year.
