How's this for an anti-drug message? |

| On youtube I found a video documenting the 1965 murder of a baby. The baby's two grandmothers were babysitting one night while the parents went out. They were looking for nappy pins and found a little tube containing acid. They had been previously unaware that the father of the baby was an LSD user. They decided to try the LSD and thought that the naked baby on the bed was a leg of lamb. They then put the baby in a roasting pan with potatoes and carrots and roasted the baby. The parents came home to see the two women sitting at the table acting strangely. There was a strange smell and they couldn't find their baby. When they realised that the grandmothers had roasted their baby they called the police. The two women ended up serving a small amount of time in prison. The baby's father ended up taking LSD again a few years later and jumped off a bridge believeing he could fly. His trousers got caught and saved his life. This is just so unbelievably sad and weird. Wouldn't you think that the father would have not ever touched drugs again after they responsible for the death of his baby? I think this video should be shown to kids in schools just to show that drugs, if taken irresponsibly can literally turn you into a cannibalising monster!! | | | | | |

| | Yeah..........I don't think that's a true story. You didn't put a link to the video so I did my own search and I didn't find one news report on the story....I did however find it on an "urban legend" website. When I was younger I did acid (LSD) many times and I NEVER mistook a baby, puppy, or any other living creature for a cut of meat. I also NEVER became homicidal or suicidal.......we usually just partied and laughed our a$$es off. Also the chances that 2 people would share the same hallucination is highly improbable. Sorry........I just don't think so. | | | | | | |

| | Thanks for clearing that up. I normally don't believe anything I hear or read until I've checked it out but I didn't bother this time. And it totally makes sense that two people wouldn't have the same hallucination. However it makes for a good urban legend! | | | |

| | Far out. What a horrible story. Let's hope it is just an urban legend. Awful if it's true. If it was, I could easily see why the Dad kept using LSD. Who'd want to live in the real world with those memories? | | | | | | |

| | Apart from being such a horrible incident, one thing I really don’t understand is why two old ladies, responsible and caring for a baby, would want to try out acid! Also note that even this incident didn’t make the father quit…so my saying is that people who go on to use such hallucinating drugs are never really in their senses ever…they rather use such tragic incidents as excuses to continue with their habit. And then I don’t know how good use will be showing this to the impressionable kids…you know how curious kids are…they might think of trying this out all the more just for the sake of fun… how it feels to be so completely gone! | | | | | | |

| | http://www.snopes.com/hor... it's on Snopes. it's a hoax. although the one with it being the grandmothers seems to be a new variation. there have been documented cases of babies murdered in microwaves. one where the family claimed that the epileptic mother was having a siezure that left her confused. the case believed to be a more straightforward murder. | | | | | | |

| | Drugs harm the human mind more that they help it come out of tension and pressure, This story just tell an example of what is possible, i alwayss beleive that living a life in which you dont have control over yourself is not worth living, These drugs makes you loose control of yourself and that is something i would never agree to. | | | | | | |
