Over Reacting?  

OMFG thats just pathetic!! So doest that mean that if they were to see a replica of the actual statue in a museum or something they're going to ask management to put a dress on it?? give me a freakin break!! Some ppl need to be slapped

This reminds me of the fact that there is a house in my town that had a mermaid statue in their front garden. It looks fine but in the winter time, I have told my kids that we should buy it a fuzzy red santa bikini top to wear in the snow!LOL

Haha I have to agree with the person who commented in that article, it looks more objectified when there is a bakini on it. I mean, the only parts of a females body classified as nude are the nipples and the anus and the (the other hole for censorship reasons). This statue did not even have nipples so those neighbors be crazy lol that is not nudity.

I see nude plastic figures a lot. I every-one is going to freak out in heaven and say "Be decent!" Come on, be more mature.

I read this story a couple days ago and thought it was quite funny. First off, they did a wonderful job with their statue of snow. It was nearly perfect and I wish I had that kind of talent when it came to making snow figures. I couldn't, however, believe that there were people that called the police to complain about their creativity. If you ask people to cover up someone's work of art, it is absolutely wrong. What's next? Is the Statue David going to have to put on a pair of boxer shorts? I mean come on, it is art, not erotica.
