How Do You know If You Are an Internet Addict?  

well i dont know hether i am addicted to internet completely but i am surely addicted for a bit . if their is no broadband connection or current in my at times in my house(which is normal in my country ) i feel that i am very depressed and i will be very eagerly waiting waiting for it and i feel as if i lost my hand and it will be very irritating for . i just cant be their in home and will go out some of my friends house and will be using the internet their . i read a few signs of internet addictions in a article it says as follows :

Ya. U r correct. Internet addictions call many problems. One of my friends is in treatment of eyes at hospital,due to over working in front of computer. Mostly internet games make problems. We need to get them banned.

How old were the parents? This is ridiculous. I remember in high school people carrying around eggs in home economics and pretending they were babies. Some drew faces on them and had them bundled up. I thought it was preposterous. But I guess it was meant to teach "child rearing" skills to the totally lame.

I laughed a bit upon reading your post upon a couple who neglects their baby just to play in a nearby internet cafe. It means for them that the internet games are more important than their baby. That was really one of the case of too much internet games addiction. I have read once an internet game addict by refusing to eat for three days just to play continuously in an online game. He was found dead in his apartment with his hands holding on the mouse.

oh my god thats totally an addict parents, icant imagine myself leaving my child alone while im having fun playing. i admit im also an internet addict but not to the point that i will ignore nor neglect other things. like if i wake up since i dont have job and i just stay at home, i do the cleaning first then go out to buy food enough for the whole day then eat then do some laundry and if im free then thats the only time i will open my computer and surf the net til evening but i see to it to check the time if its time for me to eat nor to take my prenatal vitamins.

I would know that I'm addicted if I forgotten my chores and ignore the demands of my parents. Also long times at the pc is included!

wow. I thought i was an internet addict, but apparently there are more crazy people out there then i am....

Wow, now that is addicted. I think if someone gives up their everyday life to spend allday on the computer they are addicted tothe internet. That is some peoples way of life. I dont think im really addicted but i do like going on the internet when there is nothing to do around the house and im bored (this usually happens when my baby is sleeping).

i have heard about this case ,this couple is really additive to the internet ,it is cruel to let the child to death of starving ,or so far also have person had a wedding with a virtual girl, 2 two this case is really worst ,i think the person when they are addicted is when they do not care about the real life ,and can not go far from the computer ,they surf the internet without sleeping for a long time .

Addict or delusional about reality? Seriously I've met some people on line that think these virtual pet things and stuff they play are actually real and can actually die. Example: I played a pet app once on my Face book. Well I didn't sign back onto my facebook for a few months. Decided to reactivate, took a look at my pet app and some lady left messages about how I need to feed and take better care of my "pet" and I'm just a horrible person. Wow what a wack job. I've since removed the app. I suppose my 'pet' is dead by now but oh well.
