Are you a ONE family household or TWO or more?

I know with all of these family dynamics I was wondering if people are having more than one household in the same house. How is it working for everyone that is? Would you consider it as the times get tougher? I may have to be in this position so I am looking for some heads up. They may be moving in if it gets any harder and I am not sure I will be up for it, but cannot turn away family either. Tough decisions. Thoughts? Suggestions? Experiences?

I am driving myself nuts just thinking about it. I know family is suppose to help one another and yes I would do it kicking and screaming all the way , lol. Its hard with all the economic changes that are happening. The instability sometimes you just have to. I mean if it was me in that situation then I would my family to help me.

One of the reasons why I left home and am living independently is because there are two families in our house. We're like 8 people under one roof, which is not large enough for all of us. Don't get me wrong, though. I love them but when I really needed a quiet time so I could sleep well, it's really tough bearing with a somewhat nagger mom, who'd wake you up saying that it's already noon even though you work in the graveyard shift, and noisy little cousins who'd make their existence known to you by banging your door, shouting your name out loud when they figured that your door's locked or fighting amongst each other till someone cries outside your room and you don't have any choice but to open the door for them to tell them to shut up. But it's not all bad. Now I miss the riot in our house. The kids prefer being out of the house with their own friends, although they still trespass in my room whenever I spend a night there. I just make sure, whenever I visit them that I don't have to go to work the next day. ^_^

Yeah I hear ya. I am not sure what to do but pray everything works out for everyone and maybe pitch in a little to assist, lol. I can handle the occasional feeding, going out to buy stuff, give a little cash flow but to make a household that will be hard... The privacy issue would be my biggest thing. Thanks for relpying.
