Gift from my friend

hello , i was in Davao city of Philippines for a couple of years in connection with my research work and teaching.. i have so many friends there...we chat on yahoo messager, communicate by email, exchange gifts
today i received a gift package from my closest friend there, this has scents and hanky for me, bangles, bracelets, shawls for my wife, daughter in laws, doll for my youngest grand daughter, i really appreciate this exchange of gifts, it ties us closer, this is the bondage
well do you share gifts too, keep communication with friends abroad and those not in your city or state... is it not great...

Giving gifts is one of the Filipino ways to show the sincerity of a person. That only shows that you mean much to the person who gave you the gifts. In other words, that person is a true friend .. . I hope you enjoyed your stay in the Philippines... Have a good day. Mabuhay!

i've never been to davao, i didn't know people there are that friendly and sweet. I've been around the north part of the country which is luzon and that's it. I've been to other asian countries but not davao. I love travelling and would love to make friends there but I've been afraid of being scammed, kidnapped, etc in a place where I don't know anyone personally. It's great you have such nice friends there.

These sort of gestures not only give great pleasure to us but it strengthens the bond between us. Whenever we make use of those gifts, we remember them and feel happy to use the articles with their memories in mind.

Hello Paps! I remember you told me about your friend. I am happy that she still remembers you and even gave you a gift. I appreciate exchange gifts too. I like to received gifts from a friend and give one for them. What I admire is that your friendship remains even if you are not there in Davao. I am glad I meet you too online. You have really best friends,I also have lot friends and they give gift for my birthday.They gifted me cell phone for last year.I am eagerly waiting for getting the gift for my upcoming birthday
